The Twitter handle of Premium Times Newspaper has been taken over by an hacker identified as vitalik.eth.
The account is believed to have been hijacked some minutes before 5 pm, as the last tweet from the outlet was at 4:32 pm.

A reporter at Premium Times confirmed the incident to FIJ. He said the outfit was working on rectifying the issue.
“Yes, we are aware of the incident, but we are working on it to rectify the issue,” he said.
There are speculations that the account was hacked by someone trying to impersonate Vitalik Buterin, Canadian programmer and co-founder of Ethereum.
However, the ties that exist between Premium Times and Buterin is yet to be known.
