1.how can someone be logging into my mobile banking when I COULD NOT LOGIN TO IT NOR HAD IT INSTALLED ON MY PHONE ?
2.HOW CAN IT BE MOBILE BANKING IF YOUR PHONE NUMBER IS NOT TIED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT ???? IS IT NOT SUPPOSED TO SHUT THE ACCOUNT WHEN IT NOTICES A LOGIN FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE OR PHONE NUMBER ?
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME A CUSTOMER SAID !
THAT IS NOT MOBILE BANKING BUT INTERNET BANKING !
THE DEVELOPERS OF YOUR APP NEED TO BE TAKEN TO COURT !
3.HOW CAN SOMEONE ELSE WITH ANOTHER SIM CARD ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER ANOTHER PHYSICAL PHONE DOWNLOAD THE UBA APP
USE YOUR VALID DEBIT CARD PIN AND ACCESS YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS ! AND THEN GO ON A SPENDING SPREE ON SPORTYBET OR BETJA without needing ANY MORE OTP per Transcation Done !
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS ??? IT IS TRUE IT HAPPENED LIVE AND WE TRACKED THIS FOR TWO WEEKS USING OUR ACCOUNTS !
4.DOES THE UBA APP NOT CHECK THE PHONE NUMBER IS THE SAME PHONE NUMBER ?
AND IT ALLOWS ALL SUBSEQUENT LOGINS AND TRANSACTIONS TO BE DONE WITHOUT ASKING FOR ANOTHER OTP FROM THEN ON FROM AND TO YOUR VALID PHONE NUMBER !
5.THE LOGIN DETAILS FOR INTERNET BANKING AND MOBILE BANKING ARE DIFFERENT ! AND THE PERSON GETS VERIFIED WITHOUT YOU GETTING AN EMAIL OR A CLEAR WARNING THAT IS THAT YOU ???
WITH JUST YOUR PIN THAT YOU DONT EVEN USE FOR INTERNET BANKING ONLY FOR YOUR CARD TIED TO ONE ACCOUNT
THE PERSON HAS ACCESS TO ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS !
NO WARNING THAT SOMEONE REGISTERED FOR MOBILE BANKING ON A DIFFERENT PHONE AND HAS LOGGED ON ! AND IS USING IT !
AND HOW CAN THIS GO ON FOR ALMOST THREE WEEKS ! WHILE YOU ARE USING INTERNET BANKING AND HAVE COMPLAINED BITTERLY YOU CANT ACCESS MOBILE BANKING AND THEY TELL YOU NOTHING !

In September a Scam Account @ubacaares compared to @ubacares (REAL) inserted a whatsapp number and believe it or not MANY MANY people were fooled into thinking this was UBA’s Twitter account , EVERYONE SAW THE BLUE TICK WHICH MEANS VERIFIED ! Because of the Number of Users and Followers it had and the Activity ! YOU WILL BELIEVE IT IS GENUINE AS THEY ARE ALSO INTERACTING ON THE REAL UBA TWITTER ACCOUNT ! the scam numberthen sends you to a WHATSAPP NUMBER !
It sends you to a Scam UBA Complaints form https://my.forms.app/ubacfc/ubacomplaint247 IT IS STILL LIVE !
The Form will request for your account number and pin to ANY of your Accounts With UBA and tell you an OTP has been Sent pls confirm that OTP THE OTP IS SENT CORRECTLY , THATS WHAT WILL CONVINCE YOU IT IS UBA ( they are opening your mobile banking ON ANOTHER PHONE ) THEY LOGIN YOU HAVE NO IDEA THEY ARE IN ! they wait until they see a chance !
In our case we warned UBA with an email 3days after WE NEVER GOT A REPLY . THE SCAMMERS EVEN TELL YOU YOUR MOBILE BANKING IS FAULTY AND THEY ARE TRYING TO RESOLVE IT ! and for two weeks we baited them with small amounts they did not bite
until about 350dollars worth of NAIRA came into OUR Account by “Mistake” … and in a few hours THEY FELL FOR THAT ! Our Nigerian REP alerted UBA ! UBA SAID TO WAIT UNTIL 9th of November for What to do next /
WE have refused and have sent alerts to CBN and EFCC ! AND ARE NOW ALERTING THE GENERAL PUBLIC
THIS SCAM IS ONGOING MANY HAVE FALLEN FOR IT THINKING THEIR PHONES ARE TIED TO THIER MOBILE APPS ON UBA !
WHAT WE ARE FINDING OUT IS SOME OTHER BANKS ARE USING HYBRID APPS LIKE UBA INSTEAD OF NATIVE APPS that work only with YOUR SIM AND PHONE !

- You will be required to enter your NUBAN (10 digits account number), debit card PIN (4 digit PIN used for ATM withdrawals / Online payments) and OTP sent to your registered email and phone number, you can also generate OTP from your hardware token or dial *737*7# to generate a soft token then click continue.
- You will receive a confirmation that your login details have been sent to your registered email address.
- The login details (User ID and Password ) should be entered to access the GTWorld /GTBank Mobile App
